About This Initiative¶
This site is the public front door for the Reconstruction-Grade eDiscovery Standard. It is intended to make the standard easier to evaluate, navigate, and participate in without replacing the underlying source-of-truth model.
What this website contains¶
- A public-facing overview for lawyers, legal operations teams, enterprise buyers, analysts, and working-group participants
- The full canonical standard chapters and appendices
- Practical, non-normative toolkit resources for evaluation and implementation
- Governance, participation, and version-transparency materials
What remains canonical¶
The authoritative text remains the Markdown documentation in the public repository:
Institutional boundaries¶
- The standard is not legal advice.
- The website is not a product landing page.
- The draft does not itself create legal duties.
- The framework does not imply that all non-conforming workflows are per se deficient.
- The standard is intended to define measurable preservation and reconstruction targets, including bounded evidence handling where perfect determinism is unavailable.
Source, licensing, and contribution¶
Current public draft¶
The current public draft is 0.51-draft (published March 3, 2026). Use the latest PDF for circulation and the canonical Markdown source for the authoritative text.
