Participate¶
The Reconstruction-Grade eDiscovery Standard is published as a public, versioned draft intended for vendor-independent standards discussion. Participation is open to enterprises, law firms, service providers, vendors, and individual practitioners who want to pressure-test the criteria, improve the public materials, or participate in governance.
Participation principles¶
- Discussions should improve measurable criteria, definitions, examples, or process clarity.
- Normative changes are reviewed through a documented governance path rather than informal product messaging.
- Non-normative improvements can be proposed directly through issues and pull requests.
- The canonical text remains the Markdown documentation in the public repository.
Ways to participate¶
1. Give feedback on the standard¶
Found something unclear, incorrect, or missing? File an issue:
2. Propose a normative change¶
Want to add, modify, or remove a MUST/SHOULD/MAY requirement? Normative changes require a structured proposal:
Submit a Normative Change Proposal →
3. Request a toolkit resource¶
Need a checklist, clause pack, protocol addendum, or other practical resource? Let us know:
4. Join the working group¶
The working group focuses on validating requirements against real enterprise conditions and developing conformance test criteria:
Express Interest in the Working Group →
See Governance & Working Group for details on how the group operates.
5. Contribute directly¶
Non‑normative improvements (typos, clarifications, examples, toolkit content) can be submitted as Pull Requests:
