Toolkit¶
Non‑Normative
This section is non‑normative and is not legal advice. The toolkit provides convenience resources derived from the Reconstruction‑Grade eDiscovery Standard. The standard text is canonical; toolkit materials are summaries and aids only.
What the toolkit is for¶
The toolkit helps enterprises, law firms, service providers, and vendors apply the standard in procurement, evaluation, protocol drafting, and implementation planning without re-deriving practical materials from first principles.
Every toolkit page links back to the authoritative section of the standard it draws from. If the toolkit and the standard ever conflict, the standard governs.
Recommended evaluation sequence¶
- Read Section 6 - Measurable Evaluation Framework and Appendix B - Requirements.
- Use Questions to Ask Vendors to test how a platform explains scope, determinism, audit handling, and exceptions.
- Use Vendor Scoring Worksheet to compare candidates against the same criteria.
- Request a declaration against a specific published standard version.
